Purpose and access
Junior Bookkeeping processes information only for businesses that explicitly authorize the integration. Depending on the authorized task, data can include company and account information, transactions, invoices, bills, customer/vendor contact details, documents, and financial reports. A company authorizes access through Intuit; the requested accounting scope permits reading and writing. Actual actions follow the user's task and available tools.
How information is used
Information is used to review bookkeeping, explain reports, identify missing information, ask authorized users questions, prepare work products, and carry out specifically requested bookkeeping actions. Junior does not initiate payments or file tax returns as part of this integration.
Processing services
The private assistant and QuickBooks MCP run in an operator-managed environment in the United States. Relevant prompts and tool results may be processed by OpenAI for AI inference under the operator's applicable account terms and data controls. Gmail is used for authorized bookkeeping questions and replies. Cloudflare hosts these public information pages and the HTTPS authorization-return page, which receives a temporary Intuit authorization code and forwards it through the user's browser to the local authorization receiver. Cloudflare's public pages do not serve company accounting records or store QuickBooks access/refresh tokens.
The operator confirmed that model-improvement sharing is disabled for the ChatGPT account used by the assistant. Junior does not train models on QuickBooks data. This does not imply zero retention; service providers process data under their applicable terms and retention controls.
Company separation and disclosure
Each connected company has a separate company identifier, OAuth credentials, records, and question history. Data is not sold or shared with other client companies. Service providers can process data solely to deliver the authorized workflow, subject to their applicable agreements. Access is limited to the company's authorized users and designated operators.
Storage and retention
QuickBooks client secrets and refresh tokens are stored in macOS Keychain, separately by application, environment and company. The operator controls local task records, reports, and question history; filesystem access controls restrict the assistant’s private working files to the operating account. Records are retained for the authorized business purpose and applicable recordkeeping needs; there is no automatic deletion period currently configured. Revoking Intuit access stops new API access but does not by itself erase previously generated local reports or email messages.
Your choices
Contact the operator to review or delete local integration records or change authorized users. Intuit access can be revoked from the connected-app controls in QuickBooks. Email records and AI-provider records are subject to the respective account controls and applicable retention requirements.
